Common Name: Brandt's Cormorant

Description: Large, dark water bird with a long neck and bright blue eyes. Breeding adults have a patch of bright blue under the bill, which is gray after nesting. No kink in neck in flight. Immature has a "Y" on its tan chest. Found only in marine environments. Nests colonially and stands in groups on rocky shores.
